Webflow code export
Move your Webflow website to Staticbot
Bring your Webflow code ZIP and any CMS exports to Staticbot together. Upload one archive or use an existing Git repository; we will inspect the inputs and help with the next steps.
Platform instructions checked October 16, 2026. Controls and plan availability can change.
Website ZIP · paid Workspace
What you can bring across
A ZIP containing HTML pages, CSS, JavaScript and images. This is the closest of these platforms to a portable website export, but it excludes important hosted features.
Bring the files you have in one ZIP, or use your existing Git repository. Staticbot will inspect the inputs and request a review. You do not need to rebuild the website before submitting it.
Before you start
- Access to the site in Webflow and a paid Workspace plan. A paid Site plan alone does not enable code export.
- A list of CMS pages, forms, store features, protected pages and languages that must survive the move.
Get the export files ready
Open code export
Open the site in Webflow. In the upper-left W menu, choose Code export, or press Shift + E. Code export requires a paid Workspace plan.
Download the website ZIP
Choose Prepare ZIP and download the archive. Keep it as it is; there is no need to reorganize or rebuild the exported website before bringing it to Staticbot.
Add your content exports
Export CMS Collection data as CSV where available. Put the CSV files alongside the website ZIP in one folder and ZIP that folder, or add both to your existing Git repository. Staticbot will inspect the code and content together and our team will handle the next steps.
Include a short note about the site
Tell us which forms, CMS pages, shop features, languages and protected pages you want to keep. You can include a README or text file. You do not need to replace these features yourself before submitting the files.
Upload the package or import your repository
Use the separate Upload your project form for a ZIP, or the Git import form if your files are already in a repository. Your website scan can be linked to the intake. Staticbot saves and inventories the inputs, then requests a review; uploading does not start an automatic conversion or deployment.

Features to review before moving
- The code export omits native CMS functionality and content, accounts, ecommerce, localized content and code components.
- Webflow form processing, file uploads, reCAPTCHA and site search do not carry over as working services.
- After further Webflow edits, export and upload the updated files or agree an update workflow with us.
Check the preview before changing DNS
Open a real Collection item, submit each replacement form, test the mobile menu and animations, and check that private pages are not public. A homepage that looks correct is not enough.
Keep the old account and your backups until the replacement works. You can connect a custom domain you control after testing; the provider’s own subdomain stays with the original platform.
Next: bring your files to Staticbot
Choose the separate ZIP upload or Git import form. Staticbot keeps the package and its inventory for review. Once the website is prepared, the existing hosting guides explain previewing and deployment.
