Are migrations really free?

Yes — for every AI builder (Lovable, Bolt, Base44, v0, Manus) and self-hosted Supabase, at any project size. Unlimited migrations, no data cap, unlimited AI troubleshooting, no credit card. Static site hosting is also free for one site on a Staticbot subdomain. We only charge for hosting if you choose to run your migrated app on our infrastructure.

What's the difference between static site hosting and full-stack app hosting?

Static site hosting (S3 + CloudFront) is for sites where the build produces a folder of HTML/CSS/JS — Vite SPAs, plain HTML, classic JAMstack. Full-stack app hosting (Cloudflare Workers) is for apps that ship a Worker bundle and need SSR, server functions, or edge logic — TanStack Start (Lovable's new default), Nuxt, SolidStart, Astro with the CF adapter. Either way your backend logic can run as Supabase edge functions (Deno), which we deploy on every tier — full-stack app hosting just adds framework-native server functions (TanStack / Nuxt) that run on the Cloudflare Worker itself. Static is on the free plan; full-stack apps start at $15/mo per app.

Is full-stack app hosting included in the free plan?

Full-stack app hosting is a paid plan ($15/mo per app) because each app consumes Cloudflare Workers for Platforms capacity and a Custom Hostname slot on our zone. Static site hosting remains free for one site on a Staticbot subdomain.

The migration itself is always free. On top of that, when you deploy a migrated Lovable TanStack app (or any SSR app) to Cloudflare Workers, your first 30 days of full-stack hosting are on us — custom domain, SSL, global edge included. After the free month, hosting is $15/mo per app — cancel anytime.

If migrations are free, how does Staticbot make money?

Hosting. Migrating your app to a Supabase project you own costs nothing. If you then choose to run that app on our infrastructure — full-stack apps on Cloudflare Workers ($15/mo per app) or static sites on a custom domain (Pro Static, $5/mo) — that's the paid product. You're never locked in: deploy to your own AWS for $0 Staticbot fee, or host anywhere else.

What counts as a migration?

One migration = one Supabase project migration: the full pipeline of discovery, schema migration, data import, edge functions, storage buckets, auth configuration, and frontend deployment. All of it is free, and there's no limit on how many you run.

What if my migration fails?

Accepted Answer

Just retry — there's no charge either way. Our AI troubleshooting analyzes failures and suggests fixes (often a corrected SQL statement you can apply with one click), so most issues are resolved automatically before you even need to think about retries.

Can I deploy to my own AWS account for free?

Accepted Answer

Yes — for static sites. The Own AWS option deploys your static bundle to S3 + CloudFront in your AWS account with no Staticbot fee; you only pay AWS directly. Full-stack app hosting on your own Cloudflare account is on the roadmap.

Can I upgrade or cancel hosting later?

Yes. Hosting plans are month-to-month — upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. There are no long-term contracts or commitments, and migrations stay free regardless of your hosting plan.
