What's the difference between static site hosting and full-stack app hosting?

Static site hosting (S3 + CloudFront) is for sites where the build produces a folder of HTML/CSS/JS — Vite SPAs, plain HTML, classic JAMstack. Full-stack app hosting (Cloudflare Workers) is for apps that ship a Worker bundle and need SSR, server functions, or edge logic — TanStack Start (Lovable's new default), Nuxt, SolidStart, Astro with the CF adapter. Static is on the free plan; full-stack apps start at $15/mo per app.

What counts as a migration?

One migration = one Supabase project migration. This includes the full pipeline: discovery, schema migration, edge functions, storage buckets, auth configuration, and frontend deployment. All phases of a single project count as one migration credit.

What if my migration fails?

You get a free retry or a full refund — no questions asked. Our AI troubleshooting analyzes failures and suggests fixes (often a corrected SQL statement you can apply with one click), so most issues are resolved automatically before you even need to think about retries.

Can I deploy to my own AWS account for free?

Accepted Answer

Yes — for static sites. The Own AWS option deploys your static bundle to S3 + CloudFront in your AWS account with no Staticbot fee; you only pay AWS directly. Full-stack app hosting on your own Cloudflare account is on the roadmap.

Do migration credits expire?

Accepted Answer

Yes, purchased migration credits expire 365 days after purchase if unused. Free tier credits do not expire. You'll see your expiry date in the dashboard so you can plan accordingly.

What happens when I archive a migration?

Your credit is refunded automatically. If you archive a migration before it completes, the credit goes back to your account so you can use it on another project.
